Does age really matter?

Culturally we openly judge it, the age difference in relationships. In the West, we’ve centralized, almost idolized specific age-gap relationships and given society permission to have an opinion. Historically, men have been celebrated for dating younger women, though that’s biologically changing now. Women dating younger men is finally becoming more socially acceptable and normalized, though there have always been social nonconformists—pioneering women who have cared less. But what if I told you there’s a whole pattern to it, an alchemical process that’s fundamental, where age actually matters? Age gaps and age differences are purely numerical and deeply symbolic. They create an energetic pull, a pattern, and a particular kind of tension between timing, desire, memory, and growth—coloring the entire relationship dynamic.

I’m sure you jumped to a significant age gap, because that’s how we’re conditioned when we think of age differences, failing to realize that any age difference will actually create incredibly telling relationship dynamics. Technically age gaps are 10 years or more, but that’s not the only thing I’m speaking about. Really, this is a post on relationship dynamics based on age. Not every age difference means the same thing. A one-year difference does not ask of love what a six-year difference asks. Being twelve-year years apart does not shape intimacy in the same way as a five-year difference. Each carries its own dynamic, its own emotional weather, its own lesson.

This has nothing to do with typical numerology, this has more to do with harmonic mathmatical equations. Keep reading for a mindblowing perspective, examples, and breakdown of each relationship dynamic no matter what the age difference.
