The Secret of the Perfect Form: Why Your Greatest Potential is Sealed... and How to Break It.
With the first crack, the shell fractured slightly, and a pure ray of light began to flow through a small fissure. Other creaks preceded the first, and soon, the entire crust of the egg was fragmenting, putting an end to the darkness and giving way to life, which burst forth like a spring of new light.
Before all things, there was the Egg. The universe itself was imagined as a silent seed, closed in upon itself, incubating in darkness until it shattered into light. The cosmic egg: matrix of time, cradle of the gods, seed of every transformation.
All cultures have felt the mystery of its perfect form—fragile, yet fortified. In Vedic India it was Hiranyagarbha, the golden egg floating on the primordial waters, whose opening gave birth to the cosmos. In Greece, the Orphic egg contained Phanes, the god of light, the first to unfurl
golden wings and pour time into the void. In China, it was P’an Ku who emerged from the cosmic egg and, by cleaving it in two, separated heaven from earth.
The shell stands as the gateway between the invisible and the visible, between what is still gestating and what dares to be born.
